How does Wakey make an alarm harder to dismiss?
You choose a wake-up mission for each alarm. When it rings, complete that mission before dismissing it, so switching the alarm off takes more intention than a single tap.
Which wake-up missions are available?
Wakey includes Math, Memory, Shake, Typing, Object Scan and Face ID missions. You can configure the difficulty and combine multiple missions for an alarm.
Does Wakey sound when my iPhone is in Silent Mode?
Silent-mode alarms are supported on iOS 26 and later. On iOS 18 through iOS 25, Wakey uses notification-based alarms, so notifications and sound must remain enabled for the app.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can set up and use Wakey without creating an account.
Is Wakey free?
Wakey is free to download from the App Store. Optional in-app purchases unlock additional Pro features.
